Unit Name: Welding and Rust Repairs Workshop
Description: This course provides the students with in-depth knowledge of different kinds of welding and equipment used in welding. Completion of this unit will enable students to acquire a thorough in-depth knowledge of how to do welding, soldering and brazing.
Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1: Use oxy-acetylene welding equipment techniques. 2: Explain general brazing and soldering techniques used in the body shop. 3: Demonstrate welding with each of the three types of current. 4: Demonstrate how to use MIG welding machine. 5: Explain the flame cutting process works.
