Unit Name: Vehicle Body Fundamentals

Description: This unit enables students to acquire an in - depth knowledge of Vehicle Body component identification and functions.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. List the body parts of a vehicle. 2. Describe vehicle body design and frame variations. 3. Identify the major structural parts, sections and assemblies of body-over-frame vehicles. 4. Identify the major structural parts, sections and assemblies of unibody vehicles. 5. List the procedure to remove and refit automotive components.
