Description: The course provides knowledge and understanding of the national and global beefbindustry, including the rearing systems, feed management, housing and health care. Topics discussed in the course include history of domestication of beef, global statistics on beef production. The common diseases affecting beef in Fiji and their control measures are reviewed.
