The Masters by Research programme develops research skills and training to proactively analyse critically, synthesize and reflect on complex information, problems concepts and theories. It will prepare candidates for further studies into a Doctor of Philosophy programme and / or employment in senior management research-based positions in the public and private sector organisations. 

a. A Bachelor's degree with first or upper second class honours, including a research component comprised of a thesis; or
b. A Masters degree by course work; or
c. A Masters by Research degree
