This online short course is designed to introduce medical imaging professionals to the core principles and methodologies of health research, with a focus on developing research literacy relevant to clinical and academic contexts. The course covers foundational concepts, research paradigms, methodology, ethics, critical analysis, and data interpretation using both quantitative and qualitative approaches, along with an introduction to mixed methods research and the concept of rigour. It aims to enhance the capacity of medical imaging technologists to engage in evidence-based practice and contribute meaningfully to research within the medical imaging field.
