The Master of Arts in Geography program emphasizes multidisciplinary study of geographical phenomena, sophisticated spatial analysis, and research approaches. Students study physical geography, human geography, GIS, and geospatial technology, among other subjects. The program prepares graduates for professions in academia, environmental planning, urban development, and more by emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent research.

Grade point average of 3 out of 5, Grade B and above in PGD in Geography or equivalent. Those candidates who do not meet the minimum grade point average requirements must have served in relevant areas (teaching, research, industry) for at least three years and would have gained sufficient knowledge and developed the aptitude to undertake higher studies.
