This Programme is a steppingstone towards pursuing higher studies. After pursuing this course, students will be able to develop an art of historical craft and can be appointed at organizations and universities demanding higher education degree as a pre-requisite. The proposed program is innovative as it offers a viable and in-depth study of historical research issues, historiography, ideologies, and research craft.

Grade point average of 3 out of 5, Grade B and above in Bachelors level or equivalent with History as one of the majors. Those candidates who do not meet the minimum grade point average requirement must have served in relevant areas (teaching, research, industry) for at least TWO years, gained sufficient knowledge, and developed the aptitude to undertake higher studies.
