This Programme is a stepping stone towards pursuing higher studies. After pursuing this course, students can develop geographical skills and be appointed at organizations and universities demanding higher education degrees as a prerequisite. The proposed program is innovative as it offers a viable and in-depth study of geographical research, climate change, hazards, tourism, and regional studies.

Grade point average of 3 out of 5, Grade B and above in Bachelors level or equivalent with Geography as one of the majors. Those candidates who do not meet the minimum grade point average requirement must have served in relevant areas (teaching, research, industry) for at least TWO years, gained sufficient knowledge, and developed the aptitude to undertake higher studies.
