| Programme Description | The Class 6 Master/Engineer Full for Territorial Waters course complies with Maritime Transport Act 2014. Upon completion of this course the candidate shall be able to apply for a license from MSAF permitting the holder to sail as a person in charge of ships of 20 gross tonnage or less engaged on Fiji trade or territorial water voyages. |
| Minimum Requirement | • The candidate shall not be less than 18 years of age. • Hold a valid Basic Sea Safety – Operate Small Boat certificate with 12 months of seagoing experience; OR • Hold Class 6 Master/Engineer (Restricted) License with 6 months of seagoing experience; OR • Hold valid Boat Masters license with 9 months of seagoing experience. |
