| Programme Description | This course module is for those who are currently working, or intend to work with electrical equipment in the electro-technology industry and require training in the fundamentals of electricity. Those credited with competencies contained in this module will be able to demonstrate knowledge ofalternating and direct current machines and their controls. They will also be equipped with skills to analyse three alternating current systems and use the AS/NZS: 3000 Wiring Rules in the calculation of single phase installations maximum demand. The competencies covered encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National Qualifications for Electrical Fitter Mechanic. |
