Programme Description

Those credited with competencies covered in this module are able to identify the national transmission and distribution network, identify the different voltages levels at each transmission & distribution level, understand the generation of electricity by commercial generators together with associated controls, protection devices and the management of power stations to ensure continous and uninterrupted power supply to consumers.The competencies encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National Qualifications for Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
