Programme Description
This programme is for those who are currently working, or intend to work with electrical equipment in the electro-technology industry and require training in the drawing and interpreting electrical schematic diagrams. Those credited competencies contained in this module will be able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical symbols and their application in electrical schematics, floor plans as well as motor winding diagrams. They will also be equipped with skills to correctly interpret schematics and electrical plans. The competencies covered encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the Natonal Qualifications for Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
Course Learnings
Demonstrate knowledge of the MS Visio 2014 and how to apply it to draw electrical schematic diagrams  
Design and draw electrical floor plan as to inductry standards, 
Design and draw an electrical schematic diagrams using standard symbols,  
Demonstrate ability to draw motor starters and winding connection diagrams
