Programme Description

This module specifies the competency required to erect and dismantle formwork to footings and slabs on ground for establishing levels and containment of finished concrete. The module includes forming basic slabs, forming rebates to slabs on ground, molds and steps to strip footings. This module specifies the competency required to safely select and use carpentry tools and equipment to erect and dismantle formworks for simple formwork. At this stage the participant will have the knowledge and skills to erect, dismantle, clean, lubricate with relevant liquid and store formwork in safe manner.
