Programme Description

This module specifies the competency required to fix plasterboard to timber and steel framing. This unit includes the framing to straight and curved wall and ceiling by using hand tools, power tools and equipment for plasterboard. Fixing board to ceiling framing will also be incorporated in this practical task to give participants a simulation to finish to office area. The knowledge and the skills will enhance the participants with designing, calculating, cutting and fixing plasterboards to the given timber and steel frames. The safe use of hand and power tools will be assessed in this module.
