Programme Description | This module specifies the competency required to plan and prepare, set out, mark and cut members for gable roof framing that includes top plate, common rafters, jack rafters, ridge board, purlins or roof battens, insulation paper, roof bracing and roof covering. The underpinning knowledge and practical tasks includes the knowledge and skills required to carry out simple calculation in relation to gable roof structure and construct a gable roof as per the drawing or sketch provided. The hands-on practical will enhance the participant\'s skills in marking, setting out, cut and assemble the gable roof framing structure. |
