Programme Description

This module specifies the outcomes required to demonstrate the safe and effective placement and finish of concrete to a simple formwork. This module also include but not limited to batching of concrete by given ratio which involves calculation of each ingredient of concrete by volume of dry mix and wet mix. The underpinning knowledge will assist participants to understand the curing of concrete on site and also transportation of concrete within the site or from off-site. Knowledge of slump test will be an advantage to participants to test the concrete mix that is batched on-site or off-site before pouring.
