Programme Description

This module specifies the competency required to Read and interpret plans with basic specifications relevant to General Construction operations for residential building. This unit includes the identification of types of plans and drawings with their functions, the recognition of commonly used symbols and abbreviations, identification of key features and specifications on a site plan, comprehension of written job specifications and  recognition of document status and amendment detail. The training will also enhance the skills and knowledge for the participants to read and interpret given plans for residential buildings.
