Programme Description

This course is intended for participants from industry who require formal training or skills upgrade in the cabinet making and joinery trade which may include practicing tradespersons, trade assistants, unskilled workers and enthusiasts who are involved in other profession (e.g. teacher\'s, cabinet making and joinery salespersons, accountants etc.) wishing to undertake training in basic drawing and plan reading.

Course Learnings

•	Demonstrate knowledge of general workplace safety.			
•	Recognize commonly used symbols and abbreviations.			
•	Identify and locate key features to read services plan and interpret from job specifications	
•	Recognize amendments to the plan. 			
•	Explain cabinet making and joinery specifications.
