Programme Description

This module is designed to meet the requirements for participants with knowledge and skills to setup to operate static machine to laminate press top furniture in cabinet making and joinery trade. This module covers how to apply laminates by hands on practice, including the preparation, layout, application and finalization processes. The competencies encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National Qualifications for Cabinet Making and Joinery trade

Operate stationed joinery machine for laminating timber surfaces   
Demonstrate correct method of laminating as per working drawings
