Programme Description

This module is designed to meet the requirements for participants with knowledge and skills in doors and windows construction in cabinet making and joinery trade. It also covers working with static machine for manufacturing processes to set out component material in preparation for the assembly of window frames, sashes, doors and door frames .The competencies encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National Qualifications for Cabinet making and Joinery trade.

Course Learnings

Sketch door and window construction details in accordance to standard specifications,  
Prepare materials for doors and windows   
Confirm Joints used for doors and windows   
Assemble doors and windows and frames,   
Install hardware to doors and windows,   
Install the doors and windows unit on site,   
Verify door and window components
