Programme Description

This module covers the competencies install water service controls and mixing devices used to manually control water mix and flow. It includes the basic adjustment and maintenance of correct flow operation for flushing devices, control valves, temperature control devices pumps and appliances, and excludes the commissioning and adjustment of backflow prevention devices and thermostatic mixing valves. 
The competencies encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National Qualifications for Plumbing Trade.
