Programme Description
This module covers the competence required to classify, understand the properties and work with engineering materials  of the trade. Therefore, understanding the type of material is used in the vehicle will greatly reduce the time spent on repairs.The programme will be conducted in a simulated environment in conjunction with classroom presentations. All students will have instructions in workshop operations and procedures. The programme is also structured to ensure numbers of competency for the programme are achieved at the end of the course. Each competencies of this programme will link to the level 4 of the Automotive National Qualifications.
