Programme Description

This module covers Light Vehicle Manual Transmission Service & Repair. Contained within this course is instruction on how to identify component functions, characteristics, and principles of operations of the light automotive transmission/ transaxle systems. It is also designed to cover the competencies required to service and repair transmission and transaxle.The module includes fault finding, servicing, repair and testing light automotive transmission/transaxle as well as managing and maintaining our environment in case of transmission oil spillages. Each competency covered in this programme will link to the level 4 of the Automotive National Qualifications.
