Programme Description

The competencies in this module  deals with the knowledge and skills required to assist  trade persons in the welding and fabrication industry.The module utilises competency based approaches to measure trainee outcomes.Welding drawings are critical in communicating welding requirements and specifications  from the designers to the fabricators and welders and it is essential that  welders these drawings are interpruted correctly. The competencies  encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National  Qualification for Welding and Fabrication
