Programme Description
This module is designed to meet the requirements for the knowledge of Fitting & Machining Trade. This module is to ensure the reliability and safety of plant equipment. Knowing that all equipment components will wear, appropriate management must be applied to avoid unplanned failure. Maintenance can influences the entire plant operation, from product quality to on-time delivery, to safety records and to the impact of environmental pollutions.  The participants will be guided through the competency based training methods that is widely adopted at NTPC.  The competencies encompassed in this module are equivalent to Level 5 of the National Qualification for Fitting and Machining Trade.
