Programme Description | This course is designed to meet the requirements of participants in safe working practices for refrigeration and air conditioning workers. It covers the various operating parameters of a refrigeration system. The participants will be learn the function and construction of enthalpy diagrams, calculate the refrigeration effect, heat of compression and specific volume. The participants will be able to identify the effects of various refrigeration faults, test compressor efficiency, identify types of coupling and explain proper alignment techniques and types of capacity controls used in a system. The competencies encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National Qualification for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade |
