Programme Description

 This module is designed to meet the requirements of first-time tuition for refrigeration and air conditioning workers.  It explores the parameters of capillary tubes and capillary systems to ensure a better understanding of its uses and requirements for the domestic and commercial sectors. To learn the safety procedures and dangers in the installation and repairs of a capillary system, the operation and function and how to repair and replace and fault find a capillary tube system, and ability to use manufacturers cataloques and applying codes of Good Practice. The competencies encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National Qualification for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade.
