The warehouse plays a critical role in supporting a company\'s supply chain success. Supply-chain management is the process to design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand and measuring performance. It designed to offer an interdisciplinary approach to managing supply chains and leading effective operations. The purpose of a warehouse is to effectively ship product in any configuration to the next step in the supply chain without damaging or altering the product\'s basic form. Faculty present state-of-the-art models and real case studies on managing facilities, inventories, transportation, information, outsourcing, strategic partnering and warehouse management and logistics support for successful operations. Overall the programme is expected to break down warehousing issues in terms you can understand and demonstrate how your organisation can explore and tap the full potential of these opportunities.
