Supply-chain management is the process to design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand and measuring performance. It designed to offer an interdisciplinary approach to managing supply chains and leading effective operations. The purpose of a warehouse is to effectively ship product in any configuration to the next step in the supply chain without damaging or altering the product\'s basic form. Faculty present state-of-the-art models and real case studies on managing facilities, inventories, transportation, information, outsourcing, strategic partnering and warehouse management and logistics support for successful operations.
