Programme Description
The lack of knowledge and skills in recognizing potential danger can result in irrepairable disaster to human life or financial loss to companies. Thus risk identification and risk assessment and its control should be an intergral part of the running of any organisation, it is essential for business continuity and sustainability.  Safe guarding the company from financial loss and ensuring compliance to the legal requirements by protecting and safe guarding the Health and Safety of its staffs and stakehoders. Managers and supervisors are faced with challenges and at times job insecurity when the right decisions are not made accordingly. Repercussion may include legal notice for non conformity to the legislation, payments of compensations, financial loss through production, tarnishing of reputation, property damage or worst of all is the loss of life. This course has been specifically tailored to facilitate and assist Supervisors, Managers and OHS Committees in identifying potential hazards (risks), prioritising them and making the right and timely decision to addressing OHS issues at the workplace.
