Programme Description | The aims of the PGDipEd is twofold. The first is to enable applicants to gain advanced knowledge, experience, skills, attitudes, appropriate dispositions and values for further education and professional work in education or training. The second is to systematically and in an additive manner prepare candidates to accumulate courses that will prepare them for admission into the Masters of Education degree. |

Minimum Requirement | To be admitted to Post Graduate Diploma in Education, a person shall have: • obtained a Bachelor’s degree at FNU or at another recognized university normally with a GPA of 3.0 or • obtained a qualification at a tertiary institution which is deemed by the FNU Senate or its delegate to be equivalent to the requirements as (a) above; or • obtained a professional qualification deemed by the FNU Senate to be equivalent to the requirements set out in (a) above; or met the mature student admission criteria after an evaluation of prior learning/experience (APL) and completed a bridging research unit at level 7 for those not meeting the GPA as in (a) above. |
