Good news for Fiji National University (FNU) alumni members as they will be able to obtain a special discount from HealthPlus Diagnostic Centre when accessing services.

The discount was made possible through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the FNU Alumni Office and HealthPlus Diagnostic Centre. HealthPlus has clinics across the country that provide a wide range of medical checks.

FNU’s Acting Alumni Relations Manager Sharon Chand said such collaboration expands FNU’s existing corporate partnerships as well as establishes new corporate relationships.

“This partnership provides a 10 percent discount offered by the HealthPlus Diagnostic Centre. The discount is not only limited to the FNU alumni but this also extends to their immediate family members,” said Chand.

“The best part is that the HealthPlus Diagnostic Centre’s multiple locations throughout Fiji will mean that FNU alumni from various areas in the country can benefit through this partnership,” the Acting Alumni Relations Manager added.

“They have laboratories in Nabua, Sigatoka and Nadi. We have also made arrangements for our alumni in the northern division who can access discounted diagnostic services offered through Prakash Medical and Wellness clinic in Labasa.”

HealthPlus Diagnostic Centre, Managing Director Keshvi Sukul has encouraged former FNU students to utilise the partnership and take a proactive approach to their health and get tested regularly.

“It is indeed a privilege to be associated with an esteemed institution such as the Fiji National University. It gives us more recognition and credibility as a health facility due to partnerships as such. I look forward to strengthening a long term relationship with FNU and its alumni,” stated Sukul.

Meanwhile, the FNU Alumni Office also renewed its partnership with Central Rentals Limited, one of Fiji’s leading rental Car Company.

The renewal of the MoU means FNU graduates will continue to receive exclusive and best-discounted deals on car rentals.

Both MOU’s are valid for three years.

FNU alumni are required to present their Alumni ID cards to qualify for the discounts. To obtain the Alumni ID cards, the former FNU students will have to email the Alumni Relations Office at alumni@fnu.ac.fj.
