Residential students update

Posted On: April 17, 2020

Dear all,

I have received several calls today from various High Commissions and Embassies based in Suva inquiring about accommodation for their residential students who are studying at the Fiji National University (FNU) either on scholarships or private tuition.

I’ve had discussions with the Director of Estates and Facilities and also with Deans of Colleges and would like to inform everyone that no Regional students will be told to vacate the rooms they currently occupy.

Furthermore, local residential students who are from locked-down areas and or from maritime areas and are facing difficulties in travelling back home are requested to remain in hostels. As advised previously, FNU staff will continue to look after all residential students in our hostels.

If students have any issues regarding their accommodation or need to make necessary arrangements to move their belongings, they are requested to contact the Manager Accommodation Mr Amit Kumar on Phone: 9920736 or Email: maco@fnu.ac.fj and or the head of accommodation at the respective location for further assistance.
