Key figures in the University, including the Heads of the Western Campuses and selected staff members and student reps also participated in the discussions.
It involved a series of pivotal meetings across the FNU’s Western campuses which aimed to discuss and put to action what is delivered on the FNU Strategic Plan 2024-2026 based on the five priority areas, focusing on projects to enhance campus facilities and improve the overall student experience.
This is also working in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The meetings also centered around placing special emphasis on initiatives that will significantly improve the quality of education and services offered in the FNU Western Campuses.
In her discussions, Professor Nabobo-Baba underscored the importance of collaboration among campus leaders to foster a supportive environment for students as well as staff.

One of the highlights of the discussions was the foundation of a Coffee Forward project for our esteemed Namaka Campus in Nadi, which is set to become an integral part of the campus and University enhancements.
“I encouraged the Campus Heads to take charge of this project to engage students, provide them with additional support, and create spaces that contribute to a vibrant campus life,” said Professor Nabobo-Baba.
“The meetings mark a significant step forward in the University’s commitment to elevating its Western Campuses and ensuring that all students have access to quality education and support services.
“As the Strategic Plan 2024-2026 takes shape, the University remains dedicated to its mission of enhancing student experience and success across all its campuses.”
