Posted On: August 31, 2018

In collaboration with the Dean of College of Humanities and Education, Dr. Eci Nabalarua, Associate Dean Flexible & E-Learning, Dr. Valentine Hazelman commenced a series of good practice workshops during the mid-semester break for teaching staff in the northern and western divisions. The workshops were held from 27-30 August, 2018. The content of the workshops focused on better use of Moodle as a tool for learning and teaching, Copyright implications and Open Educational Resources (OER), and using Turnitin appropriately. The workshops also introduced staff members to the concept of blended learning and the mechanics behind developing blended mode courses. Staff members were primarily from the College of Humanities and Education (CHE) at the Natabua Campus, Lautoka and the Labasa Campus. More workshops of this nature are being planned for the other Colleges at FNU.
