The Fiji National University successfully launched its 2024 roadshow in Nausori today.

The roadshow was abuzz with prospective students, parents and guardians flocking the venue from as far as Lakeba, Lau and Levuka and the surrounding Nausori areas to receive face-to-face enrolment assistance from FNU’s enrolment drive team.

Bose Qaravimoala and daughter Salote Rosivulavula

Bose Qaravimoala of Tubou village in Lakeba, Lau accompanied his daughter Salote Rosivulavula, a fresh high school graduate of Ratu Finau Secondary School for her enrolment.

The duo travelled from Lakeba last week to prepare for Salote’s transition into university.

“I am here as a parent who supports education and am happy with the steps Salote is taking to pursue her education further. I am proud of her,” Qaravimoala said.

Rosivulavula has successfully enrolled into the Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) programme at FNU’s College of Engineering, Science and Technology (CEST).

“I have always dreamt of working in the civil engineering field from a young age. Today I am taking the first step towards that by enrolling into the Bachelor of Civil Engineering programme at FNU,” she said.

Zakiyah Bibi and mom Zainab Ali

Zakiyah Razia Bibi, who was also accompanied by her mother Bibi Zainab Ali, was all smiles today when she received her offer letter for the Bachelor of Commerce programme (Industrial Relations & HR management and Marketing) from the College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies.

“I am looking to run and manage a business in the future, which is why I am enrolling in this programme,” said Bibi.

The first postgraduate enrolment the roadshow saw today, expressed gratitude for the effortless assistance provided by the roadshow team.

Vinay Singh

“This was the easiest enrolment I’ve had. Avoid the hassle of waiting for offers letters as they give you your offer letters immediately after you lodge your application,” said Vijay Singh after successfully enrolling in the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting programme.

This is the first of many roadshows that FNU will conduct to assist prospective students across the country in enrolling into their programme of choice.

Other services include academic counselling, instant offer letters, programme details and campus information.

The roadshows will head out to Sigatoka, Ba, Navua, Nausori, Tavua, Rakiraki, Nadi and Lautoka from next week, 18-20 January.

Students can also visit FNU Enrolment Centres at the Koronivia, Nasinu, Derrick, Namaka, Natabua, Ba and Labasa campuses to submit applications.
