FNU launches 2022/2023 Prospectus

Press Release Posted On: July 27, 2022

Prospective students, parents, guardians and stakeholders can now learn more about the Fiji National University’s (FNU) programmes, campus life, support services, entry requirements and college details in the newly launched Prospectus 2022/2023 document.

The Prospectus is available on the FNU website and will be provided to all prospective students during school, community and other outreach visits conducted by the University.

Acting Vice-Chancellor, Dr William May said students would be able to have easy and efficient access to information regarding FNU that would assist in their tertiary learning decisions.

“As our global community recovers from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic – which has influenced how we live, play, work, study and grow – choosing a suitable tertiary education and career pathway is a crucial step that requires research and planning,” Dr May said.

“As our students and stakeholders browse through the FNU 2022/2023 Prospectus, I’m confident that a few study programmes from our wide range of courses will pique their interest and help them decide on a programme aligned to their interests and career ambitions.”

“FNU offers programmes that range from Certificate III to PhD level and are tailor-made in close collaboration with our industry stakeholders to ensure our curricula are relevant and meet the current and future market demands.”

“In addition to having industry-qualified academic staff and the compulsory industrial attachment component to our programmes, FNU provides support services to assist students with their in-person, blended and online learning journey. This allows our students to become workforce-ready graduates.”

Dr May added that students undertaking technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and higher education courses at the University would also have access to high-speed free WiFi available at all our campuses, digital infrastructure that is on par with universities in Australia and New Zealand, a digital library collection and the new Sports and Wellness Centre at our Nasinu Campus for those in the Central Division.
