The Acting Vice Chancellor of the Fiji National University, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba

Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba, said that the university is excited to award the best businesses in Fiji.

“This yearly event celebrates overall performance excellence and honours organisations, businesses, and non-governmental organisations,” said Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba.

“Recognising and celebrating business excellence helps motivate employees and teams to perform at their best. When individuals and organisations are acknowledged for their outstanding achievements, it can boost morale and encourage them to continue striving for excellence.”

She added that honouring business excellence provides a benchmark for other organisations to aspire to.

“The FBEA allows businesses to showcase best practices and success stories, that set a standard of quality and performance that others can aim to achieve, thus driving overall improvement in the business landscape.”

“Honouring business excellence is important because it fosters a culture of continuous improvement, motivates individuals and organisations to strive for the highest standards, and ultimately contributes to economic growth, innovation, and the well-being of society.”

Professor Nabobo-Baba said that by recognising and celebrating excellence the FBEA encourages businesses to be the best they can be and drive positive change in the Fiji business community.

The Fiji Business Excellence Awards will be held on Saturday the 11th of November, at the Sofitel Resort and Spa in Denarau, Nadi.
