FNU extends enrolment date

Press Release Posted On: January 29, 2020

Students who are yet to enrol at the Fiji National University (FNU), need not panic as the University’s application and enrolment period has been extended until 14 February in response to requests from students and their parents.

FNU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nigel Healey said this would provide students with ample time to enrol into the programmes of their choice and begin their university experience.

“As Fiji’s national university, we cater to the needs of the nation, as well as students, in that we provide programmes to suit the interests and ambitions of everyone,” Prof Healey said.

“We have over 200+ programmes at Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Postgraduate, Masters and PhD level in all fields of study and we urge students to visit any FNU Campus, Enrolment Centre venues or the website for information regarding the range and requirements of these study opportunities.”

“Our compulsory industrial attachment component for all courses ensures that students are work-ready with practical experience once they leave as graduates.”

Prof Healey added that offer letters would be provided immediately after applications were processed.

“So if students come in to our enrolment centres or to our Colleges, they will process the application on the spot. We have shortened the processing period to ease the anxiety of waiting on our students.”

“We look forward to starting the new academic year with our current as well as newly-enrolled students and we are ready to assist students in their application and enrolment process.”

Students can visit the FNU Enrolment Team at MHCC Suva or any FNU Campus nearest to them to complete their enrolment.

All late enrolment fees will be waived during this period.
