The Fiji National University (FNU) is thrilled to announce an initiative aimed at streamlining the enrolment process for prospective students.
At the upcoming FNU Open Day, which will be held from October 5th, 2023, attendees will have the opportunity to receive provisional offer letters, a progressive step towards simplifying the enrolment journey.
Acting Registrar of FNU, Shalmendra Chand, emphasized the importance of this move.
“Our objective is to make the transition to higher education as smooth as possible for aspiring students,” said Chand.
“By providing provisional offer letters on the spot, we are empowering them to make informed decisions about their academic future and expedite the enrolment process which is a testament to our commitment to Pillar 3 of the FNU Strategic Plan 2021 – 2026, which includes the university’s aim to improve support for student admission (including transition and foundation programmes).”
He added that prospective students attending the Open Day will be able to engage with faculty members, explore various academic programmes, and gain valuable insights into campus life.
“The provisional offer letters will offer a glimpse into the exciting educational journey that awaits them at FNU.”
Chand further stated that FNU invites all prospective students and their families to join us at the FNU Open Day, where they can explore our offerings and receive personalized guidance to kickstart their educational aspirations.
The FNU 2023 Open Day will be held at the Naduna Campus in Labasa, from October 5-6, Nasinu Campus in Suva, from October 6-7, Namaka Campus in Nadi and Natabua Campus in Lautoka on October 6.
