FNU Committed to Guiding Next Generation of Professionals at HECF Career Expo

“The Fiji National University (FNU) is thrilled to participate in the inaugural Higher Education Commission Fiji’s (HECF) Careers Expo scheduled to commence on Monday, 16 October 2023.”

These were the words of FNU’s Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor Learning and Teaching, Dr Jimaima Lako.

She expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating that the University’s participation in the HECF Careers Expo allowed the institution to showcase the academic excellence and diverse programmes that FNU offered.

“We are committed to guiding and inspiring the next generation of professionals in Fiji, helping them make informed choices about their education and careers,” said Dr Lako.

“This significant event offers an unparalleled platform for prospective students and job seekers to explore a diverse range of educational and career opportunities.”

Pro-Vice-Chancellor TVET, Dr Isimeli Tagicakiverata, also shared his enthusiasm.

“FNU’s involvement in this expo emphasises our dedication to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), highlighting the critical role it plays in shaping a skilled workforce in Fiji. We look forward to engaging with attendees and demonstrating the vast opportunities available through FNU’s TVET programmes,” said Dr Tagicakiverata.

FNU encourages all prospective students, parents, and career seekers to visit its booth at the Careers Expo at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.

The FNU team will be available to provide detailed information about the academic programmes, career prospects, and holistic learning experiences offered at FNU.

The FNU team will also be providing provisional offer letters to students who enrol for Semester 1, 2024 studies at their booth at the Vodafone Arena from 16-19 October 2023.
