Coffee, Cookies & Moodle: Mid-semester workshops

Posted On: April 8, 2019

The CFEL team ran a series of Moodle workshops during the Semester 1, 2019 mid-semester break from 25 to 29 March. The first 2 days of the mid-semester break used a pre-booked one on one consultation format where teachers would come in and discuss the various Moodle tools they were unfamiliar with or would like to learn more about. Titled, “Coffee, Cookies & Moodle”, the one on one sessions ran from 9am to 1pm each day and this also gave teachers the opportunity to fine-tune their Moodle shells to support their teaching.  The rest of the mid semester break saw the CFEL team split up and run workshops at the Natabua Campus in Lautoka, the College of Engineering, Science & Technology in Samabula and the College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences at the Pasifika Campus and the School of Nursing in Tamavua.  Some of the workshops were refresher and follow-up sessions to workshops held earlier in the year.  Overall, some 150 FNU teachers attended the sessions over the mid-semester break.  The CFEL team will now move to badging the workshops held in the first quarter of 2019 to acknowledge the participants efforts.

Participants from the Natabua Campus Moodle workshop held on 27 & 28 March 2019.
