CHE Professional Development Workshops continue

Posted On: November 12, 2018

Associate Dean Flexible & E-Learning, Dr. Valentine Hazelman took part in a professional development workshop for the School of Communication, Literature & Language (SCLL) in the College of Humanities & Education (CHE). The workshop took place over 2 days, from 8-9 November 2018 at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi. Solid outputs from the workshop covered marketing strategies for CHE programmes, postgraduate directions, priority training schedules and professional development planning requirements for 2019 along with programme Graduate Attributes. More programmes and courses for blended mode delivery from 2019 were committed at the workshop. As in the previous workshop with the School of Education team, Dr. Hazelman debunked some myths and assumptions about blended learning. The blended development portfolio of the Centre for Flexible & E-Learning continues to grow as more commitments are firmed up by the Colleges.
