The Centre for Flexible & E-Learning (CFEL) is pleased to be facilitating the following workshops for the mid-semester break of semester 2, 2019. New to its slate of workshops to the Colleges is blended course development which was only available in a limited capacity until the full course development team came on board in May 2019. Most Colleges have been actively engaged in CFEL’s activities, whether it be Moodle, Turnitin, Blended Development or ePortfolios. To date some 400+ teachers at FNU across all 5 Colleges have received training in various capacities from CFEL. Under the portfolio of the Pro Vice Chancellor Learning & Teaching at FNU, a core strategy area for flexible & e-learning is teacher development. The Moodle and Turnitin sessions are generally facilitated by the Learning Technologists (technology driven), while Blended development is facilitated by the Learning Designers (pedagogy driven).
