Blended Development for Creative Arts and Ethics Workshop

Posted On: March 25, 2019

Dr. Deepak Prasad, Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching Enhancement (ADLTE) co-facilitated the workshop on Blended Development for Creative Arts and Ethics team from the College of Arts & Humanities (CHE) with The Centre for Flexible & E-Learning (CFEL) on 23rd and 24th May, 2019. The workshop followed on the heels of similar workshops in December, 2018 for the School of Education (SOE) at the Natabua Campus, Lautoka, then February 2019 for the School of Communication, Literature & Language (SCLL).

The Blended Development workshops take a closer look at how courses from different specialisations are taught face to face before the concept of blended learning is introduced as a means of understanding the different modes of teaching delivery. Acknowledging a ‘one size does not fit all’ approach, the workshop also covers exploration and curation of Open Educational Resources (OER) and a pragmatic but simple approach to developing engaging multimedia experiences with the learner in mind.
