For Samuel Alex, upgrading his qualification was more than a goal — it was a responsibility.

Today, the proud Vanuatu graduate received his Postgraduate Diploma in Oral Surgery, marking a significant milestone in both his personal and professional journey.

Originally from Malekula Island in Vanuatu, the 34-year-old is the first in his family to pursue a career in oral health.

Driven by a desire to uplift his community, Alex said “I want to provide improved oral healthcare services to the people in my country.”

He dedicated this remarkable achievement to his two children back home in Vanuatu, who he says are his greatest motivation.
