Losana Justina Ravunivadra, a 33-year-old from Tovu Village in Totoya, Lau, walks into her graduation with a heart full of emotion.

She completed her Bachelor of Education (Secondary) (English and iTaukei) from 2021–2023, but could not graduate then because of unpaid fees.

Instead of giving up, she worked tirelessly in part-time jobs, slowly paying off every dollar.

In 2024 and this year, she finally cleared the balance—an achievement earned through sacrifice and quiet perseverance.

“I am just so happy, it is finally over. There are a lot of people that I have to thank for helping me reach this far. It has not been an easy journey but worth it,” Losana said.

“My husband has been helpful, and I want to thank my parents and my uncle for raising me to become the person I am today.”

Seeing both her parents travel from the village to witness this moment fills her with overwhelming pride.
