Hailing from Baulevu in Nausori, Raj was raised in a village where farming is more than just a livelihood — it’s a way of life.

“My father owns a farm in our village, and from a young age, I was immersed in the world of agriculture,” Raj said.

As the eldest of three siblings, Raj understands the importance of hard work and dedication.

“Farming has always been the backbone of our family,” he shared.

“It’s allowed us to thrive over the years, and I see my degree as a way to build on that foundation.”

“This qualification is a tool to elevate my family’s farmland and take our farming enterprise to new heights.”

With his education, he aims to introduce innovative practices and sustainable methods that will secure a prosperous future for his family and community.
