Hailing from the beautiful Koro Island, Atelaite Marau is making history as the first in her family to walk down the graduation aisle.
Today, she graduates with a Bachelor of Arts degree, specialising in English Language and Literature from the Fiji National University (FNU).
“This is just the beginning. I want to inspire my siblings and others in my community to believe in themselves and never give up on their dreams,” Marau said.
As the second eldest of four siblings, Marau’s journey has been one of dedication and perseverance.
