After completing Year 13 back in 2011, Naomi Wati chose to enter the workforce. Today, 14 years later, she’s taking a bold step towards her academic dreams — by enrolling at Fiji National University.

When Naomi heard that the FNU team would be at the Naitasiri Youth Festival currently underway at Naitasiri Secondary School grounds, she made sure to visit us.

The 31-year-old is set to begin her Diploma in Office Administration (Level 5) next year.

“I knew I had to do my tertiary education. I have the experience but needed the certificate to complement it. So I prepared all my documents and I’m pleased that next year I will be starting,” Naomi shared.

She’s now encouraging others who have work experience but no formal qualifications to take the leap and start studying too.
