Brief Biography:
Dr. Garima Sahu is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 15 years of combined industry and academic experience. A Ph.D. in Management from Amity University, India is held, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications. Research focuses on artificial intelligence driven user engagement, digital consumer behaviour, OTT and streaming platforms, metaverse engagement, and workforce adoption of AI.
Research papers have been published in SCOPUS- and ABDC-ranked international journals, including Q1 publications, and a reviewer role is held for leading journals such as the European Journal of Marketing (ABDC A*) and The TQM Journal (ABDC B). Work has been presented at multiple international conferences with active involvement in funded research projects. Prior to transitioning to academia, senior marketing management roles were held in India and Fiji, where campaigns were successfully led, high-performing teams developed, and measurable business growth driven. The current role is Assistant Professor in Management at The Fiji National University, combining industry insights, research expertise, and passion for teaching to mentor students.
